Your New Career
Scout Talent is working with one of world's largest mining organizations for a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partnership.
As part of this RPO contract, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, six-month embedded Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team.
The role is based in downtown Vancouver, BC, with a hybrid work model and the potential for extension based on the evolving business needs.
As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will collaborate with stakeholders to plan, attract, and select talent across a designated portfolio. Your work will ensure alignment with the company’s recruitment strategy and commitment to diversity.
Some of your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:
- End-to-end recruitment tasks, including job briefs, screening, interviewing, managing probity checks, offer management etc.
- Coordinating, attending, and tracking the success of Career Fairs within Northwest British Columbia, representing the client, and championing First Nation recruitment activities
- Participating on end-to-end recruitment tasks, including job briefs, candidate screening, interviewing, managing and drafting offers, pre-employment tasks, onboarding etc.
- Sourcing and recruitment for roles at all levels of the organization
- Coaching Hiring Managers on attraction, sourcing and selection activities and decisions
- Ensuring the recruitment process actively supports companies’ approach to diversity
- Facilitating quality candidate management, ensuring communications and updates are provided to candidates in a timely manner
- Actively championing and supporting internal candidate experience and mobility
About You
To qualify for this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in recruitment and talent engagement, preferably within mining or a comparable heavy industry
- Proven expertise in behavioral interviewing and managing candidates throughout the recruitment process
- A solid understanding of best practices in recruitment and applicable labor laws
The following qualifications are highly valued:
- Experience with SAP and SuccessFactors ATS
- Proven ability to execute career fairs and manage volume hiring initiatives
- A background in working with First Nations communities
