Scout Talent is working with one of Canada's largest mining organizations for a Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partnership!
We’re excited to offer a full-time, in-office opportunity in Vancouver, BC, for a Recruitment Administrator / Candidate Care Coordinator to help manage this contract and support our growing team.
Reporting to the Team Leader - Recruitment, you'll manage candidate care and provide administrative support to Talent Acquisition Business Partners focusing on candidate care, recruitment compliance, recruitment best practices, and the use of streamlined templates, tools, and processes for recruitment.
Some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting candidates end-to-end throughout the TA process with high touch and high-quality candidate relationship management
- Communicating with candidates, colleagues, and hiring managers (internal and external)
- Providing optimal candidate care at each stage of the TA process, with a particular focus on offer management and onboarding candidates
- Educating and coaching stakeholders on recruitment processes and tools
- Working closely with the probity/pre-employment check suppliers to request and monitor background checks, certifications, medicals, clearances, and references for candidates prior to the offer
- Verifying completed requisitions against month-end reporting
- Maintaining central tracking documents as requested by the team
- Challenging convention and finding a better way by taking the time to define the problem, analyse it and find a solution for it
- Leveraging data to drive insights and continuous improvement
- Other duties as required
About You
You'll preferably be someone with prior experience in high volume administration with a keen attention to detail, experience in Recruitment / Human Resources or a related discipline. Prior experience with SAP Successfactors would be considered an asset.
To qualify for this role you need to have:
- Effective communication skills
- Strong relationship-building skills and you work well in a team
- Attention to Detail and strong time management skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of candidate travel coordination
- An understanding of video interviewing software/platforms
- Knowledge of applicable labour laws and best practice recruitment techniques and tactics
- Experience in mining or comparable heavy industry (asset)
- Experience with Ad writing and posting to third-party job boards (asset)
