Your New Career
Scout Talent is preparing to expand our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partnership with one of the world’s largest mining organizations.
Currently, we are gathering Expressions of Interest for a full-time, embedded Talent Acquisition Partner, based in downtown Vancouver, BC, working in a hybrid capacity. The formal recruitment process is expected to begin in early 2026.
Reporting to the RPO Manager, this role is pivotal in executing end-to-end recruitment processes across a designated client portfolio. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to plan, attract, and select top talent, ensuring alignment with our clients' strategic objectives and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Delivering comprehensive recruitment services, including job briefings, candidate screening, interviewing, managing probity checks, and offer negotiations
- Leading sourcing and recruitment initiatives for various roles, partnering with external service providers as necessary
- Coaching hiring managers on effective attraction, sourcing, and selection strategies
- Ensuring recruitment processes actively support diversity and inclusion principles
- Facilitating exceptional candidate experiences through timely and transparent communication
- Championing internal mobility and supporting internal candidate engagement
- Developing a deep understanding of critical roles to inform strategic recruitment planning
- Designing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies tailored to specific business needs
- Building and nurturing talent pipelines through proactive networking and engagement
- Collaborating on market mapping and talent pooling activities for future opportunities
- Identifying and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the recruitment function
- Participating in additional projects or duties as required
About You
To be considered for this future opportunity, you will ideally bring:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in full-cycle recruitment within mining, oil and gas, or comparable heavy industries
- Proven expertise in behavioural interviewing techniques and candidate management
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and applicable labour laws
- Proficiency in sourcing strategies, including Boolean search techniques
- Experience with applicant tracking systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Experience working with First Nations and Indigenous organizations or communities
- Experience in coaching hiring managers and influencing recruitment decisions
- Ability to design and implement innovative sourcing strategies
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within recruitment processes
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and strategic thinking
