Your New Career
Scout Talent has an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, hybrid arrangement in Vancouver, BC.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in streamlining administrative processes, enhancing candidate experience, and enabling our Talent Acquisition team to focus on strategic, high-value work. You’ll work closely with recruiters and stakeholders, supporting end-to-end recruitment coordination while ensuring a smooth and consistent hiring process.
This role is designed as a stepping stone within Talent Acquisition, offering clear progression into conducting interviews, managing end-to-end recruitment processes, and becoming client and stakeholder-facing as you develop.
Some of your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting shortlisting activities, including candidate rating and ranking
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Tracking key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and interview feedback
- Conducting pre-employment screening (reference checks, background checks, assessments)
- Coordinating interviews and supporting candidate communications to ensure a positive experience
- Assisting in the development of structured interview guides aligned to role requirements
- Assisting with job postings and, where needed, headhunting activities
- Providing ad hoc support across recruitment workflows, reporting, and market insights
- Helping ensure consistency and quality across recruitment processes
- Supporting team coverage during absences to maintain seamless operations
- Contributing to improvements that enhance efficiency, candidate experience, and employer branding
About You
To qualify, you will have:
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or a high-volume administrative role
- Post-secondary education in a related field (preferred)
- Experience with job boards and headhunting activities
- Familiarity with video interviewing platforms
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
